Ns memories part 3 ~ Valentines Day ~

Well i dunno how you all spent valentines day back in selangor but in Ns it was a well.... interesting experience.

We had our navigasi thing dat day.I guess we were all pretty pumped up since we got our Ns bag ( contains water canteen, metal lunch box and a poncho~sumthing u use as your tent cover or raincoat if u r desperate ).But the bag was freaking uncomfortable.Anyways getting that stuff made us feel like in the army so we all couldnt w8 to go 4 the navigasi.

We were divided into two groups in each company so in my case it was C1 and C2 ( C = Charlie ). And boy the arrangement of the group was dam sad ( freaking sad ).Cause for sum reasons the non-malays are at 1 end of the line with the malays at the other end caused us to be pretty much one sided company. That was ok but the problem was the girls also did the same.And so unfortunately our group, C2 only had malay girls ( Nooooo!!!~ ).Me Ben and Kiret were pretty dissapointed and no semangat at that point ( each of us had our reasons).What can i say, shit happens.

We did out Navigasi in a kelapa sawit plantation.It doesnt sound like much but the terrain there is not so ez.It had hills ( we climbed alot of them ), mud , river ( not really a river la but like small stream ) and cow shit.Yes, cow shit.IT WAS EVERYWHERE.So every1 practically had to watch where they were going.It was like going 2 Vietnam war with the amount of land mines put everywhere.

had to go in the direction of the compass b4 every1 else so that it is easier to get the exact direction.The compass There are 3 roles in this navigasi.The "Penanda",the compass ppl and the followers.The Penandappl are those who hold the compass ( 2 compass 1 team ) and the followers are well... the followers.Being pro's we had our second compass holder follow the penanda so when the direction is comfirmed correct, the 2nd compass guy can immediately get the bearing on where to go while the rest catch up.We managed to catch up to D1 ( delta 1st group ).Since the 1st group of each company started ahead of the 2nd group, we were setting a pretty pro pace.I played all 3 roles in my group ^^ pro...

Yet it wasnt all fun and games.It was pretty tiring since we were walking 4 quite sum time and keep on going up and down while carrying our bags.I had a very very scary experience during that journey dat i dun wan 2 share ( only few ppl know of this ).Lets just say i was sweating in fear so i jumped at the chance to be the Penanda.On a cool side, wen we crossed over a river by balancing across a log just like in the movies.Dam that felt cool.

My most pissing off point of the trip was that they ran out of syrup.WTF man, those lazy useless canteen bastards didnt bring enough syrup and the fact sum ppl took 2 or 3 bottles of it really REALLy pissed me off.We were off again about 2 sumthing and reached our starting point at about 4 i think.We were even pro-er this time as we were the 2nd group 2 to reach the point.It was dam good considering that we were the last to leave.

Sum noobs who could handle the journey had 2 ride in the van while 1 of the noob delta group ran into sum itchy tree or sumthing so the whole group were putting on sum cream 4 their itchyness.HAha noobs.All in all we did this thing from 9 sumthing to 4 sumthing.It was a pretty good experience.

During the lunch break, the 3 of us didnt manage to meet the ppl we wanted to meet so it was pretty depressing.Only when i came back i found out that she was sick so she didnt go.Haizzzzz~ life is so sad.

Pretty much celebrating valentines day at Kem Bakau isnt the most ideal place 4 valentines day.Even the TKL told us he rather spend a nice quiet evening having candle light dinner with his wife.I got my 1st valentines gift from sum fwens ( show you the pic soon ) so thx N and S.

All in all, it was an unforgetable experience.
